I got to pet a doggo, so it was a good day!
This is Lily, my cousin’s 10 year old Great Dane/Lab mix. She’s about the size of a small horse and doesn’t move around too well anymore, but she’s an absolute sweetheart
Went to visit a car collection this morning, unfortunately photos weren’t allowed. Unassuming building with rooms full of neat cars. The furthest room was completely full of prewar awesomeness. Lots of Rolls, Bentleys, Isotta Fraschini, Delage, Delahaye...
Then I went out to the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve for their 20th anniversary, it was a beautiful day for a walk
Then I went to make sure the project didn’t blow away... it had not!
Life finds a way:
Somehow the grass managed to grow between the steel panels.
Bonus doggo:

Great Danes are the best dogs in the world. Ours is a 160lb cuddle-monster (and couch potato).

She just wanted to lay on the floor and put her head on my knee, I kinda want one but my apartment is way too small.

There were many doggos there, but only Lily was calm enough to pet.

Gibbs sleeps all day and if he’s not sleeping he’s calmly waiting to be loved on. Best dog ever.

Great Danes need very little room

What kind of doggo is Gibbs?

Also, I don’t really have time for a dog right now.

Retired Racing Greyhound
It’s hard to see his body proportions when he’s not standing. When he does stand up though everyone thinks he’s a Great Dane. The only reason I can think of is because the name is somewhat similar and the fact that Gibbs is 10-20 lbs heavier then an average Greyhound.

Lily looks like a real sweetheart! Those soulful eyes.
